What Is Over-Dimensional Transport?
Over-dimensional loads exceed the standard vehicle dimensions set out in the NHVR guidelines — in width, height, length or mass. These are the most complex heavy haulage moves, and they require specialised trailers, NHVR permits, route surveys and pilot or escort vehicles to move legally and safely.
If your load is wider than 2.5 metres, taller than 4.3 metres, longer than standard vehicle length, or heavier than standard mass limits, it's over-dimensional — and that's exactly what we do.
